Emily evaluates the top polling runners as of now, with Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg, all keeping their heads above water in a very bloated field as of summer, 2019. What's the best strategy to stick out on a crowded dais for lesser known candidates? Emily provides her analysis.

In the back half of "Deadline DC", Brad is joined by Nick Guthman, co-founder and director of "Blue Future" a Democratic activism group charged with youth voter outreach.

Brad and Nick evaluate the Democratic candidates through a Millennial lens, and offer advice and policy positions that should help motivate younger voters in the 2020 cycle.
