In this hour of the Leslie Marshall Show, guest host Maggie Thompson takes a look at President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court from a uniquely Millennial perspective.

Maggie was joined in the first segment with Cedric Lawson, Field Director, for The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.

They examined the role a staunchly conservative Supreme Court may have in making critical decisions affecting all Americans, with young people and minorities especially threatened by a reactionary judiciary.

In the second segment, Maggie brings in an international trade expert, Blaine Johnson, Policy Analyst, China and Asia Police, from Center for American Progress, to dissect how a looming "trade war" with China could negatively affect all sorts of businesses, products, and services for US consumers and workers.

In this hour of the Leslie Marshall Show, she's joined by Brad Bannon, of Bannon Communications, a progressive polling and activism firm.

Brad and Leslie dive deep into President Trump's latest SCOTUS nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, analyzing the potential impact on an already conservative court, and what his confirmation could mean for women's reproductive rights.

They also take some interesting phone calls on the topic, leading to a must-listen discussion on the dangers of a Kavanaugh confirmation for the future of political left in the US.
