On this episode we talk about the recent Gillette commercial and we talk about the "poison pill" it could be for the church.  We also talk about how the church needs to clean its own house and then speak to culture in how we are treating others and especially women otherwise we are going to repeat the sins of the past of slavery and partiality.  Instead of letting a godless society give us a godless solution to a godless problem we need to speak clearly and authoritatively from the Bible.

On this episode we address the growing trend of polarization in our country and amongst evangelicals.  We look at the influences of postmodernism, cultural marxism with intersectionality and word act speech on this growing polarization and see how the Bible addresses these issues.  We propose that we achieve unity through fighting, but fighting for the truth of the Gospel and the truth that is found in God's Word as it is the unifying message that we can come together around.

On this episode we talk about how the same errant post modern hermeneutic that has caused such outrage over the song "Baby Its Cold Outside" also causes many to be outraged over the Bible.  Then we address the Christmas trolls and discuss how when you reject the Biblical model of relationships between men and women both inside and outside of marriage and replace it with the "ethics" of the #MeToo movement, you end up stating that God is a sexual predator of Mary and raped her when He put Jesus in her womb.  Lastly, we end up on a good note in talking about Heyward's favorite Christmas carol "O Holy Night".  If you think the English version is good, wait until you hear what the original lyrics were.

You want to know what Gospel victory looks like?  Well this week we look at the statement of recently detained Chinese pastor Wang Yi entitled My Declaration of Faithful Disobedience recently published by chinapartnership.org . The world may see this as losing because he was arrested and possibly executed but the Bible shows that, when the church is no longer afraid of the government but rather the government is afraid of the Gospel message of the church, that is winning and that is what we are discussing.
