Rithika Shenoy turned 25 on her second day as a new immigrant in Canada. She had left her career as a lawyer in India to study a Master’s in journalism in the new country that welcomed her. Quite frankly, she didn’t know what to expect. She had taken a huge risk and threw herself into the deep end hoping things would work out. Five years later, despite facing several bumps on the road, she can attest that they turned out great. This is her story.
