As a step towards KRY's mission to fast forward the future of healthcare, we are launching in Germany this fall. In this process we are confronted with the challenge of adapting our service to a much less digital environment compared to Sweden. In this session you will learn how we used service design methods to approach the challenge of launching a digital product in Germany's paper and fax-heavy healthcare reality.

Many engineers have to deal with distributed systems to scale platforms. It's often difficult to understand the overall system setup. Sometimes, it feels like you're losing control over the communication patterns of your system components.
We can address this problem by applying Domain Driven Design, automation, and decoupling principles. It's possible to design software that consists of loosely coupled parts that interact through simpler, "event-based" data streams. This way, we won't reduce the complexity, but we can transfer some of it to the network layer.

In start-ups the position of Chief of Staff is becoming more and more valuable. It is often referred to as the "secret weapon" of a company, but why? The Chief of Staff keeps track of all current projects, advises on structures and processes in the company or assumes responsibility for tasks if certain departments have not yet been set up.
How exactly a Chief of Staff operates is discussed by Alice Bowdler, former Head of Operations at Opinary, Lucie Wienecke, Chief of Staff at micropsi industries and Charlotte Niklahs, Senior Venture Development Manager at Project A.

Originally designed to add bits of interactivity to web pages, JavaScript has developed into a versatile programming language within the last decade.
With its widespread usage in client and server applications, a new set of challenges has emerged to JavaScript developers – first and foremost building scalable software.
This talk will introduce a well-established engineering practice that strongly supports this goal and gradually finds its way to the JavaScript community: Dependency Injection.

We recently held the 3rd edition of the Business And Data Meetup and this time it was all about e-Scooters. People had mixed feelings about the arrival of the micro-mobility companies to Berlin this summer. While some value a fast & fun way to travel around the city, others were more concerned about their own safety and sustainability issues. Without a doubt, the usage of data generated by the scooters improves both operations and product and will help to win this highly competitive race.
With our panel guests Sadie Martin, Product Manager at Tier; Christoph Bernkopf, Data Scientist at Circ; and Claus Unterkicher, General Manager DACH at Voi, we talk about the e-Scooter launch in Berlin, important KPIs and how to build up successful data teams.
Guest: Sadie Martin, Product Manager at Tier; Christoph Bernkopf, Data Scientist at Circ; and Claus Unterkicher, General Manager DACH at Voi.

Apple Podcast is no longer the big kid on the block. At the beginning of 2019 Spotify invested $400 million in podcast technology, clearly hinting that it's a central part of their business model. At Project A, we've been betting on podcasting since November 2017, so almost two years later we felt, it was a good time to look back and check on our progress.
Danijel Visevic, Director of Communications at Project A, sits down with Joel Dombrower, Jr. Communications Manager at Project A to discuss the 5 things to keep in mind when starting a podcast, whether it makes sense for a company to start its own podcast, and if it's suitable for generating leads.
