  • S3E6: A Distance Worth Traveling

    Happy August Wellness Warriors!

We are in month 8 of 2023 and we can't slow down now, the Well-Beings still need our help.

This month we're talking relative strength. We're talking skills. We're talking distance. What do these terms have to do with wellness? EVERYTHING!

Let's say you're given a list of tasks to complete in any order, have you ever thought about why you chose one task over another? Let's say that your peer received the same list and chose to complete a different task first, why is that?

Your talents and skills are encrypted in your DNA and it's up to you to determine how far you go with them.

What are your relative strengths and who compliments them? This is your task this month Warriors, good luck.

  • S3E5: Everything Includes Nothing

Warriors, what's your relationship with rest and relaxation?

    Is it easy?
    Is it difficult?
    Is it intentional?
    Is it uncomfortable?

The Well-Beings are on a downward spiral of going until they drop. This month, it is your job to remind them of what rest and relaxation truly means. They can have everything, but everything includes nothing.

  • S3E4: Life in (our) Color

    It's a beautiful world Warriors!

    Take a moment to reflect.

What colors are you drawn to?
Where do these colors show up in your life?
What attracts you to your spouse?
What type of scenery captivates you and why?

Showing an attraction or preference to something beautiful has a basis in survival. How has your attraction to color proven useful in your life?

  • S3E3: B-E-A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E (but in a good way)

    Warriors,

    This month, we're talking AGGRESSION.

What role does aggression play in your life? How do you handle it? What healthy or unhealthy ways do you deal with aggression?

The goal isn't to eliminate aggression but to move through it in a healthy way.

Here's what some of our Warriors said!

  • S3E2: Tap Into Tetrachromacy

    Warriors, it's already April!

    Can you believe it?

This year is already flying by. We're entering month 4 of our Hummingbird journey.

Hummingbirds are tetrachromatic while humans are only trichromatic which means that hummingbirds can see a much broader color spectrum than humans can.

This month we're asking ourselves, am I seeing the world through a trichromatic lens or a tetrachromatic lens?

In other words, are you seeing the world based solely on your own insights, knowledge, and experiences? Or, are you honoring the wisdom, ideas, and opinions that come to you from others?

This month is all about tapping into your own tetrachromacy, whatever that means to you. What have your learned from others? What insights have you given to others?

Be open to whatever comes your way this month, Warrior.

    And enjoy yourself!

  • S3E1: Free As A (Humming)Bird

Pottery? Glass blowing? Singing? Solo backpacking? Aerial yoga?

Trying something new on your own can be intimidating but how are we going to grow if we don't get out of our comfort zone every once in a while???

As we kick off the Year of the Hummingbird, Sabriya recaps her experience going to a pottery class by herself for the very first time. She provides tips on how she overcame the fear of doing something by herself and explained how she prepared for the experience.

What new endeavor are you going to embark on this month, Warrior?

  • Introducing Season 3: The Year of the Hummingbird

    Welcome Back, Warriors!

We are thrilled to have you back for another year of protecting the Well-Beings! We've noticed that the Well-Beings are getting too comfortable. They're in limbo, going through the motions day after day after day with nothing new... They're getting bored and tired, suffering from a lack of stimulation,  a lack of joy.

It's your job to combat this, Warriors. This year, we're bringing joy back. We're bringing curiosity back. We're bringing excitement back!

Get ready because you will be assigned your first mission on March, 1.

    Let's do this Warriors!

  • S2E8: One Final Mission

    Welcome back Warriors,

I want to commend you for how hard you've worked this year! You have really made a difference for the Well-Beings and you should be proud of yourselves. With that being said, you have one final mission of 2022 and I know you're going to rock it!

The Well-Beings have a habit of saying yes when they should say no. This ultimately leads to them depleting themselves trying to help a friend when they really don't have the time or resources which inevitability causes resentment and eventually the relationship can crumble. We need your help to save them from this cycle of misplaced responsibility using these 3 simple questions.

We all believe in your Warrior and we'll see you next year!

    Welcome back Warriors!

The Well-Beings have been in conflict with each other but they're not talking about what's bothering them so nothing is getting solved. It's our job to teach the Well-Beings how to come to a resolution without getting in an argument. I believe in you Warrior, just remember..... D.E.A.R.M.A.N!

    Hi Warriors,

Your mission this week is to help the Well-Beings prepare for inevitable change that they will experience in their lives sooner or later. It's your job to create a plan so that change isn't so scary or sudden. Being prepared for what may come is a key element in managing stress.
