The hardest thing for a prophetic vessel is to see the weakness and sins of their own culture or tribe. If we are attached to something, we can be blinded by it. If we attempt to discharge our prophetic burden upon worldly affairs without first shaking off a love for and our identity in our culture, our lens and discernment gets destabilized by the surrounding culture.
