A picture has gone viral in the Chinese social media where U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a senate hearing at the end of October was confronted with a sea of red hands up in the air in silent protest against the plan to channel more funding to support Israel and the on-going conflict between Israel and Hamas. Disrupted by the scene and shout of "Ceasefire Now", the hearing before the US Senate Appropriations Committee was forced to suspense several times. Why the silent protest? Did they manage to have their voices heard?
