  • 7 Effects of Growing Up with a Single Parent
Did you grow up in a household where you had a single parent? A single mom or a single dad? Although having two parents in the picture is definitely beneficial for kids growing up, it’s not always the case. There are many children today who are going through life with just a single parent, and when
they reach adulthood, many of them become highly successful, happy individuals. Both negative and positive psychological effects of having a single parent have been studied extensively. In this video, we cover some of those
positive and negative consequences. This topic was also highly requested by many of Psych2Go's Community member.

This topic hasn't been covered by many others, so we want to be the first to bring awareness.

  • Me vs My Crippling Anxiety

Do you have anxiety or know someone who shows the signs of anxiety? Anxiety symptoms could include feelings of nervousness, restlessness, or tension,

sense of impending danger, panic, or doom, having an increased heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating, trembling, feeling of tiredness or weakness, trouble concentrating, and much more. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States
age 18+, or 18.1% of the population every year. Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet only 36.9% of those suffering receive treatment. Is anxiety an ongoing battle for you? Do you know someone who suffers from anxiety and want to share their story?
