  • 'The Magicians' recap: Brad and Cort Talk Ep 3x12, "The Fillorian Candidate"
Welcome back Fillorians! This season has flown by. How are we already seeing the penultimate episode this week and next week is the finale? We're not ready to let go. This season has been quite epic. In tonight's all-new episode, "The Fillorian Candidate," Marina is nowhere in sight and nuPenny has fully integrated into our group. So much so that the Unity key links him in their "group think" instead of Penny40. In Fillory, the fight for the crown gets dirty with Eliot throwing some "fake news" around and supporting the patriarchy. Thankfully, the Fillorians chose the best possible candidate. All hail her royal highness. Kady has trouble accepting that her love may be gone forever and that someone else has taken his place. That doesn't stop her from teaming up with her former bestie and nuPenny to track down Renard.
Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down this week’s new episode. Julia really appears to be flourishing with her new power. Will it get the best of her? Will she ascend or can she handle the power she's been and still remain within the group? What do you think of their plan to handle the potential danger behind that door that Quentin23 warned Julia not to open? Margo has her crown back and an interesting view of the world thanks to that gift from the Fairy Queen. Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on Ep 3×12, “The Fillorian Candidate”.

  • 'The Magicians' recap: Brad and Cort Talk Ep 3x11, "Twenty-Three"
Welcome back Fillorians! Marina's back and it's not that she's back from the dead. This week Jules and Josh take a trip through time using one of the keys. Remember last season when Quentin met up with that other version of Alice from the 23rd timeline? That's where Julia ends up. Poor Josh was faced with a much douchier version of himself.
Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down this week’s new episode. Seriously, was it just Cort or was evilQuentin kinda hot? Something about the allure of the forbidden, perhaps. What did you think of timeline Twenty-Three? We knew that all our faves were goners at the hands of the Beast. It's another thing seeing how Eliot and Margo ended up. Then there's this version of Penny who called Julia his soulmate. Where is Kady?! Should be interesting to see what havoc he and Marina stir up when they show up with Julia and Josh. Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on Ep 3×11, “Twenty-Three”.

  • 'Krypton' recap: Brad and Cort Talk Krypton, Ep 1×01, “Pilot”
Syfy's latest drama has finally landed. The new series takes place 200 years before the birth of Kal-El aka Superman. Our protagonist is Seg-El, Superman's grandfather. The House of El has been disgraced and its members left without rank or their family name for nearly fifteen years. All of that changes with Earth's own, Adam Strange. He arrives rocking a Detroit Tigers cap and a sunstone that is the key to Krypton's future.
Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down the series premiere. What did you think of the show's world-building? Will Seg really join House Vex and if so what does that mean for Jor-El and Kal-El's future? The premiere leaves us with the visual of Seg standing in the Fortress and holding that iconic red cape. Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on Ep 1x01, “Pilot”.
