This week we brought in Blake Pinsker (Ep 87) Director of Marketing for Mvmt, Brandin Cohen (Ep 99) Founder of Liquid I.V. and Steven Borrelli (Ep 103) Founder of CUTS to talk about entrepreneurship and what it takes to be successful in the E-Commerce world of 2018.
Throughout this Groupisode we dip into some of their first hustles/job they had growing up, why they choose to major business in college, biggest sacrifices they made early on in their careers, the key ingredient to being a successful entrepreneur/brand today, creating a customer customer experience that gets people to come back but also how to battle the fires when customers are not happy and how they plan to change the world through their businesses.
We also discuss Mvmt being acquired by Movado Group for $100 Million, Liquid I.V. builds relationships with Scooter Braun, Kygo & Adam Eaton. Putting on your blinders and going all in, learning how to say no to things that don’t help us move forward, getting small wins and building on them and why in order to succeed, we must burn the ships.

With interests to continue pursuing the passion, he attended Chapman University majoring in Film Production & Advertising. After graduating he went north to San Francisco to work for his dream company, GoPro.

In this episode he discusses the importance of self-awareness, confidence is born from repeated action, “all you gotta do is get on the right train and work your ass off” is the best advice he’s ever received and creating films with purpose.

Justin Odisho is a YouTuber who has helped millions of aspiring creatives around the world through his tutorials for programs Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects. One of his newest endeavors that he’s most excited about is his podcast, The Justin Odisho Podcast, where he interviews creatives and breaks down their story.
Raised in Detroit, Michigan he was a creative kid that enjoyed art classes. His parents encouraged him to learn and so he followed his interests which led him to photoshop and making montages for the video game Halo.
While studying at Oakland University majoring in Information Technology, he was spending a lot of time building up his YouTube channel. After taking a year off and having the itch to get back to it, he rebranded and began putting himself in the videos, trying out new content for the channel and finding the balance of what he enjoyed creating as well as what his audience was looking for. As of today, he has over 580k subscribers.
In this episode Justin discusses try new things until something clicks, as much as we want success we have to earn it, listening to people's stories are a really good way to learn, the three biggest life teachers are heartbreak, empty pockets and failure and remember to plant the seed and keep watering it.

Steven Borrelli is the Founder + CEO of Cuts.
Born and raised in Wenatchee, WA, he headed south to San Diego State University and was a Marketing Major. After graduating and trying both sales and real estate careers, he decided to launch Cuts, The Only Shirt Worth Wearing.
He moved back home, worked full-time and spent his free time putting together and fine tuning the details of what Cuts would represent. To kick off his launch he started a Kickstarter and raised $42,000 within the first month that was supported by 22+ countries.
He’s created a shirt for the men who’re driven, confident, contemporary and living with purpose. Customers select from three different cuts and three different collars keeping what we wear most simple, yet sophisticated. Just recently Cut’s established a brand partnership with videographer, content creator and world traveler Matt Komo.
In this episode Steven discusses you gotta go against everyone and stick to the vision, the struggles help us get you to where we want to go, be curious and put yourself out there, let things/relationships happen naturally and the mindset that no matter what, this is going to work.
