When you are disciplined, get your life in order so when you aren't, everything doesn’t fall apart.
In Joseph’s life, there have been times he has excelled at being disciplined, but in times of grief and pain, he has failed. Joseph has been a member of the marine corps, law enforcement, homeland security, taught self-defence, has a dog training business, and is a solopreneur. This does not mean that he has self-discipline all the time.
If you need discipline for eating better, doing better in school, getting better at work, going to the gym, etc, this episode is for you.

We can’t control our thoughts, but we can control what we do with those thoughts. Growing up, Joseph felt a lot of hatred towards his father and he did not know how to process those thoughts, but he challenged himself to learn. He learned that he couldn’t do positive things if negative thoughts were dragging him down.
The power of the mind is like a magnet. We can attract or we can repel, it’s up to us. When we attract things, it’s things that we want. Surround yourself with people and thoughts that you want to attract and be like.
If you want to move on, and stop living the life that you were living or are living, it all starts with your thoughts.

Jane Epstein was sexually molested as a child over a period of years by her sibling when she was 6 and her brother was 12. At the age of 16, Alison Leitheiser was diagnosed with a virus in the spinal cord that left her as a quadriplegic but did not let that define her life. She experienced seizures, fatigue, organ damage, and paralysis. She did not give up, she wanted to be a contributing member of society once again and do what she loved, being active.
As a child, she loved gymnastics and wanted to go to the Olympics. That was her coping mechanism to stress in life, and at the age of 13, she had to give it all up.
She asked God time and time again, “Why did you give me a sidelines body, but not give me a sidelines heart”. She learned to build her body back up as a friend and ally, and love it regardless of the struggles and pain.
She went on to compete in American Ninja Warrior, finishing a triathlon, and other athletic endeavors.
She now helps others heal emotionally, physically, and spiritually through her clinic. She started her road as an alternative health care practitioner in 2002, started her own clinical practice in 2009, and today she loves working with people's health challenges and helping them find their way to wellness. Now she wants to give that experience of feeling better, help others participate in life more, and reclaim your health!
