Whether you think you can or think you can't... you are right! Our brains are constantly seeking to be "right" and "comfortable". Which means, if you believe that you are "too busy" - your brain will seek opportunities to be busy. If you believe you are destined to be broke, your brain will seek to keep you broke. It's a phenomenon called nuero-linguistic programming and basically it states that you are what you say you are.
In this episode I chat about how you can literally "flip the script" in order to change your life.
The relationship obviously didn't work and now you still have to try to parent with this person! It's hard as f***, but it is SO important (we all know that). In this episode, Corina and I chat about how we've managed to have pretty successful co-parenting relationships with our children's dads.

So often we talk about ending "cycles of abuse" and "cycles of addiction".... but what about other traumas we pass along inadvertently? We always want what's best for our kids, but a lot of times in the make of protecting them, we share the fears that we obsess about, therefore continuing generational traumas. Women, for us this is most often about weight and body image. But, it can be anything from fears around money, career, relationships, family structure.... you name it.
In this episode I talk about the steps I work through to heal and insure I end some of these cycles for my own kids.
Just because "she" has something you don't, doesn't make you LESS or her BETTER - it just means she has it and you don't. That's all.
I've been witness to the staggering increase of anxiety in teenagers because they are so busy comparing themselves to others. I've also seen it in my clients. "Her house is cleaner than mine because she has a cleaning lady." - SO WHAT????
STOP comparing yourself, because YOU are amazing!
I've always been an emotional being. I cry at commercials. I get teary-eyed any time I watch my kids do something cool. I feel things ALL THE TIME. And for so long I've pushed that down, I've let it be hidden. I've let people make fun of me for being "so emotional". In reality, when you let yourself FEEL your feelings you start to learn so much about yourself. You discover things and figure out how to process them and work through them. So, STOP letting people dismiss your emotions as being due to PMS, or just being a woman. Emotions are part of who YOU are and you get to honor that!!
In this episode I get to chat with FABULOUS, Shannon Wooten about bravely facing the scary monsters that you've been hiding under your bed. Those things from deep within that you've kept hidden, the "ugly" parts of you that you avoid because you don't like them. But also, the INCREDIBLE POWER that comes from bringing light to them and leaning into the lessons they bring us.
She's a Life Coach, writer, & Author of Infertility Sucks, You Don't!. Shannon is a Coach for the high-powered and vulnerable woman ready to love who they are, live unapologetically, and experience success in all aspects of life.

How many times have you "toughed out" an experience/relationship/job simply because it was "fine" or because certain pieces of it were enjoyable? Me... a 22-year career in education and an 11-year relationship that I knew from year 1 wasn't right. It's SO common! STOP letting the things that are "fine" hold you back from the things that could be GREAT! Peek behind the curtain of those emotions, fears and BS stories to find what truly lights you up, then Kon Mari the crap out of your soul to make room for the new AMAZING things waiting for you.
