We sit down with Ilja Rautsi, writer of the new film The Hatching, who is bringing horror to Finland. Ilja discussed the new film as well as his horror comedy shorts The Helsinki Mansplaining Massacre and Night of the Living Dicks, both of which he wrote and directed. We sit down to talk with writer/director/producer Daniel Farrands, writer of the infamous Halloween 6: Curse of Michael Myers, as well as writer and director of The Haunting of Sharon Tate, The Amityville Murders, and the American Boogeyman series films; Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman and Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman. This is a really vulnerable discussion as we tackle the issues that arise in the writing versus creating process and the responses to some films can truly take the creators by surprise.
