In the last section of 1 Corinthians 7, Paul reminds us to see both marriage and singleness in this life in light of eternity. With this perspective, we can see an amazing benefit that those who are single get to take advantage of.

クリスチャンとして、私たちはイエス様と共に歩むことで、どこにいても完全な満足を得ることができ、イエス様に仕えることで、どんな状況の中でも大きな意味と目的を見出すことができるのです。このことは、神様が私たちをどこに植えてくださったかを心配する必要がなく、ただ植えられた場所で花を咲かせるという自由を与えてくれるのです。

As Christians, we are able to find complete satisfaction wherever we are as we walk with Jesus, and we can find great meaning and purpose in whatever situation we are in as we serve Him. This gives us the freedom to not have to worry about where God planted us, but instead to simply bloom where we're planted.

夫婦ともにクリスチャンの場合、結婚生活はどのように歩むべきでしょうか？また、夫か妻のどちらかがクリスチャンになり、もう一方がクリスチャンでない場合はどうでしょうか?その結婚生活はどのように歩むべきでしょうか？パウロは、第１コリント７：１０－１６で、どちらの状況においても私たちを助けてくれる、とても実践的な真理を語ってくださいます。

How does marriage work when both husband and wife are believers? And what about when either the husband or wife becomes a Christian, and the other one is not? How does that marriage work? Paul gives us very practical truths to help us in both situations in 1 Corinthians 7:10-16.

第一コリント７章の前半でパウロは、私たちが結婚生活において配偶者とともに、より充実した生活ができる方法の一つを示すと同時に、独身者としてより充実した生活を歩む大切な見方も示してくださいます。

In the first part of 1 Corinthians 7, Paul shows us one of the ways in which we can more fully live with our spouses in our marriages, as well as to help us to see how to live life more fully as singles.

キリストにある私たちは、二つの王国の一部です。一つは、私たちが今生きている現在の王国です。もう一つは、将来の栄光で満ちた王国です。１コリント５章と６章で、私たちが将来の王国をどのように見るかが、現在の王国での生き方に大きく影響するということを見ることができます。

As those who are in Christ, we are part of two distinct kingdoms: one is the present kingdom, the one we're living in right now. But we're also part of a future glorious kingdom. 1 Corinthians 5 and 6 remind us that how we see our future kingdom will greatly impact how we live in our present kingdom.
