Sharing the Good News of Jesus is all about working together. Each role is important in giving others the chance to hear the Gospel. Wherever you are, you are part of the great mission given to us by Jesus.

何かをする自由は、私たちにとって大切なものです。しかし、それより価値のある別の自由があるのです。一度それを経験すると、たとえ他の自由を少し手放すことになっても、それが共有する価値あるものであることがわかるでしょう。

Our freedom to do certain things is important to us. But there is a different kind of freedom that is even more valuable than those freedoms. Once you experience it, you'll discover that it's worth sharing, even if it means letting go of a few of those other freedoms.

お母さん、あなたは子供たちにイエスの福音を伝えるという大切な役割を持っています。それだけではありません。この重要な役割を果たすためにイエス様があなたを助けてくれるので、あなたは福音のすばらしさを経験することもできるのです。

Moms, you have an important part in displaying the good news of Jesus to your children. But that's not the only part you have in the Gospel. You also get to take part in experiencing the goodness of the Gospel as Jesus helps you in this important role.

私たち一人ひとりは、二つの明確な方法で、福音、つまりイエスの良い知らせに関わることができます。一つめは、イエスの良い知らせに応答することです。もう一つは、福音を他の人々と分かち合うために、自分ができる役割を果たすことです。

Each of us get to have a part in the Gospel, the good news of Jesus in two distinct ways. The first ways is in responding to the good news of Jesus. The second way is in doing your part in sharing it with others.

This week and next week, as we look at 1 Corinthians 9, Paul, in caring for the church family in Corinth, withheld certain rights as their spiritual caregiver. This week we will look at what those rights were that Paul had. And next week we will look at how and why he chose to withhold that right.
