Gudrun Erla is a pattern designer, writer, and is famous for creating her stripology rulers, but something that really caught my eye was the explosion in growth of her community over the pandemic by just giving the quilters what they need. When we all felt trapped at home with lockdowns, Gudrun created events that brought us together, doing what we love. Today, her business, GE Designs, has grown into a one stop shop for everything quilting.
