Questions Mount Over Police Inaction In Uvalde

In the wake of the Uvalde shooting, scrutiny over the inadequate police response at the scene continues to grow. New details come to light; the Uvalde school police chief who led the response to the massacre is revealed to have not had a police radio on the scene, a fourth grade survivor is preparing to testify before Congress next week, and The New York Times publishes a transcript of a Uvalde student’s call to 911: “I don’t want to die”.

Plus, the attack in Buffalo leaves a neighborhood without a grocery store, a grand jury indicts former Trump adviser Peter Navarro, and new evidence in the Madeleine McCann case points to the suspected killer.
