  • Build an audience to have options
after years of the reciprocity project, I’ve come to conclude that you need to build an audience before you do much of anything. It doesn’t matter whether you’re writing a book, building a business, or becoming an athlete, having an audience where you can find 1000 true fans as Kevin Kelley points out is essential feature of any venture.
The problem is is that you have to provide value in advance before you actually can get an audience. You have to build friendships with people that you might not know. How do you build friendships as you just give without any intention of getting back.
without these options of an audience, it’s very difficult to do any venture. As I always say, you’re just barking in the wind, as everybody else is not going to pay attention to what you’re doing.
how do you build an audience? Focus on helping out others as long as you possibly can.

  • Get back up again every day
Get back up again every day. It’s not whether you actually get the outcomes, it’s whether you are actually pursued and weather in you got back up again and it didn’t work out.

  • just pursue anything with all your heart
life. If you don’t do something you’re not going to make as much money, or you’re not going to succeed in the long run.
You hear: Follow your #passion. Go where the money is.
In my experience, the idea is not to worry about what is right and wrong, but to simply get up and pursue “anything” with all your heart.
If things are not working out and you’re actively pursuing, you’ll figure out a way to make it work out. We all know “starving #actors” and #musicians that are more successful than all of us.
However, it’s very rare to find people that have the gumption to keep pursuing something with all their heart for a long time.
Most people will quit any difficult task in a matter of weeks. Gyms are full in January, and empty in February.
Be the person that will still be at the gym in April.matter of weeks.

  • Consistency of every day life is a gift
Having some amount of #consistency, regularity, or #everydayness is an important part of everyone’s life.
When you’re younger and you’re just getting used to this consistency, you often view it as #mundanity, but as you get older, and you realize that consistency is actually the gift in your life
Hearing the birds every morning, and seeing the sunset, every night is an indication that you are able to live another day.
When this consistency stops, it’s when your often experiencing problems in your life.

  • Work within the ebbs and flows of life
Your life is not meant to be maximized. It is far too many objectives in life to pick the appropriate objective.
We talk about him later, fitness, routines, and healthy diet. But, this is the wrong way to think about our life in general.
Some days you’re going to eat more cake than other days, some days you’re gonna be able to exercise and eat, right, and some days you’ll be able to feel at peace than others. The goal is to realize that not one single day should be maximized.
The goal is to realize that you are not riding a single train, but you’re constantly getting off and on different trains.
As you build connections in life, you’re going to have to spend more time being adaptable to getting on and off these different trains.
