Murray State President, Dr. Bob Jackson, recently held his annual visit with staff and coaches of Murray State Athletics. Dr. Jackson also spoke to the Racer Report about the importance of the Racers' membership in the Missouri Valley Conference and the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Coming off an open week, the excitement is building to Murray State's first game as a member of the MVFC. Saturday it's Indiana State and Murray State at Roy Stewart. As part of the most talented receiving group in recent memory, Patrick Robertson was in the mix for Racer Football from 2008-12. and later played in the Canadian Football League Robertson played with Hall of Famers, Austen Lane, Walter Powell and Nathan Williams and is forever grateful for the opportunity Murray State gave him to chase his passion of being a strength and conditioning trainer in his professional career.
