Right-hander Trevor McMurray talks about his big start to the season including starting the season with 25 innings of shutout pitching. From Wildwood, Mo., in the St. Louis area, McMurray has Alabama roots and played at Lafayette high school, a program with one of the best baseball alumni lists around. Having already earned his MSU degree in accounting, McMurray is working on his MBA with eyes on becoming a CPA. If professional baseball comes calling, he’s got a plan to make sure his career as an accountant is thought of first.
