  • being real with myself

hi friends, todays episode is a check in from me to you about me and for you. been going through a tough time lately and nothing makes me feel better than talking to friends. todays episode is all about transparency in how i've been feeling lately bearing a lot of emotional labor, feeling like i'm having to compromise myself to make myself more digestible to wider audiences, whiter audiences, and navigating personal life growing pains and just real shit. there is nothing I find more draining and taxing than being sad but today we're embracing it, sitting in it, and acknowledging that it's good to face it head on. much love to you.

  • The Girlboss Gatekeeping of Music Education

Today we are taking a deep dive into music ed and asking "is studying music elitist?" how do we create a safe classroom culture and allow each other to take up space. How do we stop the gatekeeping of music education. Today's episode was a treat to record as a final project and a pleasure as always to bring on one of my best friends and fellow Berklee undergrad, Levi Cooper. Shouts out to Professor Jarritt Sheel once again for encouraging us to podcast and create, without him there would be no Rachel Profiling!

  • Reunited from Fat Camp! with Bailey Gambertoglio (aka Iffy Azola)
REUNITING WITH ONE OF MY BESTEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD AFTER 3 YEARS!!! We're chitty chatting about our very special origin story when we met in NYC at AMDA... to what we did this weekend. Which I can confidently say is the happiest I've ever been in since I've moved to Boston (I literally started crying because I was so happy lol). To also discussing how this is the most scene I've felt in a while, that having a friend like Bailey made me feel like me again and also safe and confident and encouraged to advocate for myself. To have a friend who, without hesitation, stood by me and is happy to be there for me and the AAPI community when I asked her if she wanted to go to a march that weekend together. All good things! and so much love!
