This week we unpacked my thoughts on cancel culture in regards to the YouTube world in a frenzy right now. I give ya a life update as well and talk about my existential crisis with thoughts such as self perception??? How our contributions to society can feel strictly economic driven???
A lot to unpack.

This week is a continuation on our discussion of the Black Lives Matter Movement with Kaylynn Slayton (@kaylynnslayton). Kaylynn shared with us some anecdotes of her experience and how she's been approaching discussions on blm with those close to her who may believe "all lives matter", as well as combating criticism on Facebook, what she's doing as an ally, and more. Loved everything she had to say and so grateful she came on to share so openly with us! I know you'll love this ep too.

This week we had an important discussion about the Black lives matter movement with Edriana Cofer. Covering everything from performative allyship, the stigmas of being a black women, white feminism, and many more valuable topics. This is possibly my favorite episode ever as I was able to learn so much and have a great conversation. Never stop educating yourself, others, and continue to ask learn and do more when it comes to fighting systemic racism and your solidarity in the Black lives matter movement. GO FOLLOW EDRIANA on instagram at @eddykainee!! She does instagram podcast videos discussing these and many more topics such as intersectionality, colorism, and more. I am so grateful to have come across her on instagram and be able to do this episode together.
Hope you are all staying safe and doing well, sending love and remember to keep the momentum going.
