We synchronistically recorded the day before Indigenous People Day, and got to celebrate Virginia’s Native American roots through her father, who belongs to the Crow tribe. We talked about the witchiness of Pow Wows, what it was like to be a white girl on visits to the reservation, and all the reservations we have about the current systems of oppression.
