Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has assured Parliament that the leadership and power generating challenges facing Eskom, are being addressed. During question time in parliament yesterday, Ramaphosa said that the war room which he leads, was busy appointing members to the energy council, which will advise government on the way to solve the country's energy crisis. They include former Eskom chairperson Bobby Godsell and former Spoornet CEO Dolly Mokgatle. Ramaphosa says once the enquiry into Eskom is finalised, a much clearer executive future will be determined. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to the Director at Groundwork and Member of friends of the Earth International Bobby Peek.
