Data contained in hard drives carrying Gupta-linked emails will be used as evidence in the State Capture commission. Chairperson of the Commission, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo made the ruling at the inquiry in Parktown in Johannesburg. An application was brought forward by the commission's legal team asking Justice Zondo to allow it to submit hard drives as evidence. The hard drives, obtained by two whistleblowers, contained emails and communication between the Guptas and representatives of government and state owned enterprises.
