X-mas is a special day to some. It is a day to spend with family and friends and celebrate the year. To others this is a lonely, stressful day that perhaps brings bad memories. Benjamin Moshatama spoke to the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG)'s Dessy Tzoneva on tips for coping with Christmas blues.

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) YESTERDAY filed papers in the Western Cape High Court against investigative journalist and author Jacques Pauw saying that he published confidential information in his book 'The President's Keepers'. SARS commissioner Tom Moyane argued in his affidavit that Pauw revealed in his book taxpayers' information, which was in contravention of the Tax Administration Act.

The ANC's steering committee has called an emergency meeting which, it's believed, will deal with an alleged irregularity during yesterday's Top Six elections. There are allegations that 68 delegates who the electoral officals said were absent from the vote for Secretary-General, were actually there. These delegates were allegedly told they did not appear on the conference voters' roll.
