President Jacob Zuma will not travel to Zimbabwe as was earlier planned. This reverses a decision by members of SADeC who met in Angola that Zuma and his Angolan counterpart João Lourenço would travel to Zimbabwe to assess the situation. The Presidency says the trip has been postponed until further notice.

The community of Eldorado Park south of Johannesburg was thrust into the spotlight again last month after the violent murder of 4-year-old Shaynice Talla. Her body was found tossed inside a drain near her family home. She had been reported missing on the same day. Since then the community has mobilised to try and curb the scourge of violent crime in the area. However they feel they are alone in this fight as it seems government and law enforcement are not pulling their weight. Jamaine Krige reports...

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and his axed Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa will soon be in talks about the current political impasse. The nation's Defense Force - yesterday (Monday) revealed that the pair had already been in contact with each other. According to military leader, General Constantino Chiwenga - Mnangagwa is expected to arrive back in Harare soon. We speak to SABC reporter, Noma Bolani.

Services have come to a complete stand still in the Emfuleni local municipality in the Vaal due to the unavailability of water. Schools, clinics, businesses and households have been affected and have been forced to find alternative means to get water. This follows Rand Water's announcement over the weekend that it has cut off water supply to the municipality by 60%, which includes the historic townships of Sharpeville, Sebokeng and Evaton. Rand Water says this is part of it's credit control measure to force the municipality to cough up the over 370-million rands in overdue payment. Ditaba Tsotetsi reports...

Suspended Gauteng Mental Health Director, Dr Makgabo Manamela has conceded that NGOs went for months without getting any payments from government after they received mentally ill patients from Life Esidimeni. This after patients were transferred to them without service level agreements. Some of the 143 patients died of severe dehydration and hunger at ill-equipped NGOs. Some NGOs owners testified at the hearings that they had to rely on donations for survival. Manamela was subpoenaed to appear at the hearings to answer for her role in the deaths of 143 patients after refusing to testify voluntarily. Wisani Makhubele reports.....

Zimbabweans will now wait for midday on Monday to see if President Robert Mugabe will finally heed the call for his to resign as the country leader. On Sunday night, the 93-year-old leader shocked the world when he delivered his address that did not included his expected resignation. Earlier in the day, ZANU-PF's Special Central Committee Meeting resolved to remove him as party leader - further giving him a deadline of 12pm to step down. The Special Meeting also agreed to have Mugabe's antagonist Emmerson Mnangagwa as the interim President until their conference in December.
