Three suspected robbers have been killed and one seriously injured in a shoot-out with the police. This comes after a security guard from a cash in transit van was robbed of two cash boxes at a garage in Hillcrest in Durban. The robbers fled the scene in a blue Citi Golf. That ANC's National Working Committee met overnight for the first time since President Jacob Zuma survived a motion of no confidence in Parliament last week. President Zuma wants the ANC to identify and and discipline Members of Parliament that voted with opposition parties. This call has also been supported by the party's Youth League in KwaZulu Natal while police minister Fikile Mbalula who called for lie detectors to be used to identify the MPs. Gauteng Community Safety MEC Sizakele Nkhosi-Malobane has instructed law enforcement agencies in Gauteng to investigate the assault case of Zimbabwe's first lady Grace Mugabe and ensure that justice is served. This after allegations surfaced by a young South African women that Mugabe assaulted her at a Sandton Hotel. It's understood that Mugabe attacked the woman after finding her with her two sons. President Jacob Zuma says the ANC's constitution, specifically the section that speaks to acts of misconduct by members, needs to be applied. He was responding to the ANC-Youth League's call for the organisation to take disciplinary action against the 26 ANC MP's who voted in favour of the motion of no confidence to topple him last week. Team South Africa has flown the country's flag high in the London's IAAF Championships which concluded last night. Caster Semenya bagged another gold in the finals of the 800m race bringing the total number of medals coming home to six. Semenya had initialy won bronze in the women's 1500m race while Wayde Van Niekerk won gold in the 400m race and silver and the silver in the 200m race.
