The Special Investigation Unit has told the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) and the SABC interim Board that the investigation into the public broadcasters scope will be completed before the end of the Boards term. Earlier this year, Parliament's ad hoc committee probing the SABC, recommended that an investigation be conducted. The officials met at the SABC's headquarters in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, to discuss the scope of the investigation by SIU. Both SCOPA and the SABC interim Board are pleased with the investigation. Ditaba Tsotetsi reports
