In the first week of Donald Trump's presidency, his administration has been marked by a flurry of executive actions. On Friday, Trump signed an executive order halting the entire US refugee programme. He also instituted a 90-day travel ban for nationals from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen among other things. However, a US judge issued a temporary halt to the deportation of visa holders or refugees stranded at airports following the executive order.
