Former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela has refused to comment about the alleged leaking of an audio recording of her discussion with President Jacob Zuma. Madonsela was one of the recipients of the Mahatma Gandhi's Satyagraha Award in an event held in Durban last night. The audio recording carried recordings of her meeting with President, Jacob Zuma when Madonsela was doing her investigation into the alleged State Capture. Meanwhile Madonsela says she is unshaken by the utterances of the ANCYL when they accused her of being the puppet of the Democratic Alliance. Vusi Makhosini reports

Democratic Alliance has denounced utterances made by Economic Freedom Fighter's President Julius Malema that his party is not calling for the slaughter of white people‚ at least for now. These alleged comments were made outside the Newcastle Magistrate's Court in northern KwaZulu-Natal, by Malema yesterday. He was addressing to his followers after proceedings against him for allegely urging his supporters to invade land were provisionally postponed to December 7. Another ANC NEC member and member of Parliament, Mathole Motshekga, has spoken out against the party's president Jacob Zuma, calling for him to resign following the release of the State of Capture Report. Motshekga is the latest to break ranks after ANC Chief Whip in parliament Jackson Mthembu called for the entire party's NEC to step down. According to media reports, Motshekga maintained that the ANC cannot and should not accept collective responsibility for the actions of President Zuma, and those who are implicated in the Report.
