    This month features sounds by Martin Lau - a UK based sound and vistual artist and myself.
    Martin's sound work involves the creation of improvised noise/soundscapes, often using both electronics and his classical training in flute. He perform in the audio/visual project on&off and by himself, also live scoring silent movies and other public domain visual material.

  • Radio Concrete #22 - Featuring Yiftah Kadan
    This month features an experimental live set recorded with Yiftah Kadan on Schocken studio.
    Kadan is an Israeli guitarist, sound artist and composer who plays experimental music, jazz and free improvisation.
    Other sources used in this recording include an amplified old clock, recordings of bees, a vinyl called Israel’s Quest for Peace and samples from Greta Gerwig speeches.

    Composed out of recording sessions with Tamir Lichtenberg, this episodes makes use of field recordings and eclectic sounds found during my last visit in Amsterdam playing at De Tanker and De Ruimte with Oooh Festival.
    Noticeable sounds include an old music box (00:00) played by hand, some kind saying you say in the morning in a waldorf school in Netherland (14:00 by Otta), traffic lights mixture (18:00) and more.

    This episode is composed out of sounds captured on Bustan Ibleo in Ragusa Sicily, during Oooh Festival 2019.
    It is based on performances, sounds of the water, hydroponics recordings and other everyday sounds captured and manipulated during our stay.
