This month’s episode features a live set recorded with Yuval Shenhar and myself.

Yuval Shenhar is a guitarist, composer and producer, member of the duo JOOVE, currently dealing with slowness, suspension and stagnation of sounds.

Radio Concrete #15 features a live set recorded earlier this year in Berlin with Eric Bauer and Samuel Hall and myself.

Eric Bauer is working with electronics and other objects. Since 2014 the majority of sound is generated via basic synthesizer modules and extended techniques.

Samuel Hall is an Australian born, European based Improvising Percussionist.

Other materials used include a new track by Stefano Lazzari (ITA), made with 24 ping pong balls on the piano strings, then manipulated with reels, and a new recording made with Illi Adato (UK)

Radio Concrete #14 works with extracts and edits from field recordings, experimental music and sound tracks from movies & tv.

It starts with an edit to the famous Daisy ad - a controversial political advertisement aired on television during the 1964 United States presidential election by incumbent president Lyndon B. Johnson's campaign and takes it from there to the upcoming elections in Israel.

Other noticeable extracts include Alvin Curran, Asmus Tietchens, Tony Schwartz (life of a dog), piano tuning videos, Radiotrip, Ibrahim Kazoo (Ft.Hassank), live mixes from radio Aporee and recordings made in my studio with Tamir Lichtenberg.

This episode is a mixture of field recordings, pieces from concerts who took place in Israel and finally almost two complete tracks: La Vierge et l'enfant by Olivier Messiaen played by Ferdinand Klinka (starts around 7:30) and Patchwork by Laurie Spiegel (21:45).

Recordings used from experimental music festival at Makhtesh Ramon (played by Yael Barolsky, Maaya Tzdaka and myself) and No-Instruments festival who took place in the Zimmer (together with Ori Schechter) among other random radio sampling which I have no way to tell which was what.

Radio Concrete #12 works with extracts and edits from field recordings, experimental music and sound tracks from movies & tv.

This episode specifically makes use of music created by participants of Oooh festival who took place in Ragusa, Sicily this summer, using music sent by Edith Steyer, Norbert R. Stammberger, Eric Schauer and Dario Chillemi.

Other noticeable extracts include Lento by Colin Stetson, BBC 60 seconds (new piece of mine), whiplash (movie), 4 rooms (movie), Chicago police radio, European space agency recordings, and few shorter recordings made in my studio of Ofir Bachmutsky, Yuval Guttman and Or Rimer.

This month: Radio Concrete episode 8 features Asaf Setty on Multitrack tape.

Asaf is a sound artist who uses tape as a medium. He collects, records, manipulates and play will all kinds of sounds and instruments including piano, cello, clarinet, drums, vinyls and archive recordings, all of which are mixed together – live.

This session of Radio Concrete features Yoni Niv and Tom Soloveitzik.

Radio concrete is an ongoing experimental project which deals with live mixing and processing of field recordings together with radio broadcasting and concrete sounds.

This session starts with a new piece called ‘spin’ recorded live. It’s a composition based on two dreidels (red one and yellow one), each of them having a different resonating pitch when thrown inside identical bowls of soups.
