Preorders have started in Japan, showing everything Selects Super Megatron can do!

As we expected based on some toy detective action and clues from the web comic pages, Super Megatron features the ability to "evolve" into Ultra Megatron - and beyond! Sort of! Ultra Megatron Omega Mode is the new face seen on this iteration of Super Megatron. But it's really still just Ultra Megatron with a new hat.

This month Rob talks about Playmates Godzilla toys and Vigilante by Irem. He also rambles about Ghostbusters toys and stuff he got for his birthday. It's a rambling sort of time.

Officialy revealed this morning, it's our first look at Earthrise Thundercracker and Skywarp!

The official Transformers Instagram and Facebook pages both greeted fans with a nice surprise this morning, giving us the first looks at both a two pack of Earthrise Thundercracker and Skywarp, and a set of the Decepticon Clones from Titans Return with new updated decos. Both sets are Target exclusives in the US and are supposed to hit shelves this summer. But, the question remains: Does this account for Amazon's mysterious "Earthmode 2 Pack", or is there another set of exclusives heading our way still?

We've got the first photos and release details for TakaraTomy's Generations Selects Super Megatron!

Our first look at Super Megatron gives us a good idea just how much work TakaraTomy has done remodeling the Titans Return Galvatron that it's based on. Including new parts for the torso, cannon, plus portions of the arms and lower legs. Plus the new shoulder armor and wings that help to give the distinct silhouette of Super Megatron. And it looks like the head has been retooled to no longer be a Titan Master, and no longer needing to be removed! Super Megatron will release in Japan in late September for ¥6000 Yen.

Amazon's Italian and German sites have a product listing up for a mysterious new Earthrise 2-pack!

TFW2005 user Jtprime17 reported the new listing today. Besides the name "Earthmode 2 Pack" and a price roughly consistent with that of two Voyagers, there's nothing specific to tell us about this set. But we can still go Toy Detective on this and engage in some well-reasoned speculation.
