Radio Gorepress

Join us Gore-fam, as we take a journey down the belly of the beast..

How are you guys doing? Keeping safe, we hope.

We've been listening to your feedback and we proudly present to you - A Show Where Rosie and Phil Agree on Basically Nothing. This week we're looking at Dowdle's As Above, So Below - a pretty divisive film by all accounts - but what did your friendly RGP creators think of it?

We chat about what did, or didn't make sense, exactly how far you're allowed to stretch artistic licence, and the moments that made our skin crawl - tune in to find out more!

The only way out is down, Gore-fam..

And as ever,

Stay Spooky!

Phil & Rosie

Gore-fam, it's time to party, and do we have a show in line for you..

It's just the ladies this week, as we take a trip through Gaspar Noé's heady hellscape "Climax". We chat film structure, discuss the emotional suckerpunches that Noé is so renowned for, and in a rare change of circumstance, actually disagree on some key points - if you can't imagine that happening, then you're just going to have to tune in to find out!

Stay Spooky, and until next time, stay away from the sangria.

Rosie & Sarah

Gore-fam..

We've seen something that's driven us to the very edge of insanity. That threatened to disassemble everything we knew about the universe, and our place within it. Something so horrifying, we can't possibly begin to describe it to you. But we'll try.

Come with us as we call upon the Elder Gods and go cross-dimensional covering Richard Stanley and Spectrevision's leap into Lovecraft "Color Out Of Space" - We discuss what we made of the film, the myriad of easter eggs we found, SCIENCE, and just how weird Stanley is.

Until next time, try not to drink the water..

Stay Spooky!

Rosie & Phil

Welcome Gore-fam, to the night of your lives..

Come with us as we lead you on a journey of terror and intrigue, and cover the 2015 fright-a-thon Hell House LLC!

Owing to hilariously strong winds causing a serious internet outage in Rosie's area (it blew all the internet away), we're dipping in to this show without her, and taking a bit of a dive on found footage films - what we love and hate about them, and considering the artistic choice to call everyone in the movie "Paul" - plus waxing lyrical on how awesome it would be to work in the horror entertainment and haunted house industry! Something new for Gorepress Productions, perhaps? Better listen to find out!

As ever, don't trust things that go bump in the night,

and Stay Spooky!

Sarah & Phil

Hey Gore-fam!

In the first of our seasonal 2020 episodes, we decided to go full circle and cover 2018's Halloween follow-up. We go deep into Laurie Strode's psyche and discuss PTSD in horror, how many nudges to the original franchise there are, as well as everyone's favourite genre grandpa; John Carpenter himself. We also have A TONNE of fun along the way.

Gore-fam, we're gonna need a bigger boat..

To hold all our hosts, because we have a mystery guest!

This week the indomitable Tom from Upside Down Shark joins us as we go on an adventure to hunt down the majestic and murderous beast that is the 1975 Spielberg classic JAWS. Tune in to what has been one of our favourite shows to date!

Stay Spooky, and until next time..

Don't go in the water.

Hello beautiful Gore-fam!

Despite the issues we had recording, and....um....losing half the episode, we managed to get this week's franken-show done and had a surprising amount of fun with it.

Join us as we discuss 1997's oft-panned sci-fi horror Event Horizon, figure out just how many cinematic universes we can shoehorn this space madness into, and answer some pressing questions along the way. Does Laurence Fishburne look better going up or down ladders? Only one way to find out, really...

Love ya,

-Phil, Sarah & Rosie.

What up Gorefam?!

We're back at it again, covering Brian Yuzna's 1993 cult hit Return of the Living Dead 3 - this week we attribute budget titles to basically everything we can, discuss e x p o s i t i o n, marvel at some truly incredible FX work, and melt (almost literally) into wheezing fits of laughter because we think we're a lot funnier than we probably actually are.

Thanks for listening, and Stay Spooky!

Rosie & Sarah

Good Evening, Gore-fam...

Long time listeners might remember our show on 1977's Suspiria. Well, we'd be remiss not to cast our eyes over Luca Guadagnino's stunning remake, so here you go. We ponder all the important questions; how many Tilda Swinton's is too many? Is Thom Yorke better than Goblin? And what the frack is contemporary dance all about?!

Join the coven. DEATH TO ANY OTHER MOTHER!

What up, Gore-fam?!

With Rosie drowning in a sea of moving boxes, and the world going to hell in a hand-basket, what better movie to cover this week than Come To Daddy - just the kind of utterly unhinged flick we needed. Tune in for some top discussion and laughs, and as always..

Stay spooky!

Phil & Sarah
