USDA Prime KC Strip Steaks are wet-aged and finely marbled for the robust flavor and tenderness that made KC famous for its beef! That’s a perfect description for our four (4) pm happy hour with Ray and Tammy Torres almost every day on our cruise! It featured a perfect martini, hot dog, and either a  chocolate and vanilla swirl soft serve or two or three scoops of regular ice cream! After we finished, it gave us just enough time to get ready for our 6:30 dinner reservations!! I think the heavily marbled refers to my tummy!

Besides the food hogging, we are playing some good stuff to celebrate my return to the studio. Pat Benatar, Joe Bonamassa, new Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stones, The Five Americans, Nirvana and Charles Bradley in the Deuces, Pearl Jam, and The Grip Weeds. Our show this week features 3 songs in a row with 'diamond' in the title: 'Diamond Dogs' by Beck, 'Diamond Girl' by Seals and Crofts, and 'Diamond Joe' by John Mellencamp. The word diamond got us thinking about one of our pals in self storage from The Storage Group - Jody Mann, Director of Operations. On Friday, May 12th Jody and her betrothal Jeremy are tying the knot so this is a special show to offer our heartiest congratulations and wishing them a beautiful life together! The RadioWilderLive.com show this week has what I consider an eclectic lineup, as we usually have on the shelf from Nick Low, Blur, the Soft Boy, or how about Hank the Knife and the Jets. We are featuring Who by Fire from Bad Sisters, done by PJ Harvey & Tim Phillips. Our Deuces this week has one of my very favorite tunes of all times ... Peace Train, done originally by Cat Stevens and covered beautifully by Leem Lubany in the movie Rock the Kasbah. We have the Raconteurs, Apples in stereo, Sheryl Crow, the Beatles, Richard Marx in from out of the Rock 'n Roll Graffiti radio playing only disc number seven Labauve collection, Greenfield done by the Brothers Four and a very special appearance by Elvis Presley and the animals. 

We are still basking in the glow from the tremendous #ISS2023 show in Las Vegas and can’t thank Terry and the rest of the gang at TPP, ClaimsPros, and #ISS enough for all their hard work for putting on a tremendous show for the first time at the Caesars Forum. Congratulations to our friends from Atomic Self Storage, as they are working on their own executive RV facility. Radiowilder live number 259 after Vegas as a special request from Andrew Kelly from the Sierra Consulting Group. Andrew was formally a member of the great National Self Storage team and lost one of their members, Bill Stevenson, who is one of their absolute favorites this week, and the reason Andrew did not make Las Vegas. Bill was known for his karaoke skills and he would do a king of the road at every karaoke bar that he could find and at the end he would take his 6-foot 4-inch 240-pound frame and cartwheel across the stage. Quite a sight! So Andrew asked us to do a "King of the Road" and a little mention of Bill and his antics. We are happy to do this for you, Andrew, and the former members of National Self Storage. We have a great lineup of new hits this week featuring a wonderful Deuces with "Walk this Way" by Aerosmith. One of the songs changed the way people looked at Rock 'n' Roll forever. This was a song combination of rap, a little punk, and a little extra rock'n'roll! It was "Walk this Way" - done by Run DMC. And in addition to that, we have Jane Lee Hooker, Nick Piunti, and Ricki Byrd. I show also features Eddie Money, the Beatles, Sam Fender, Pink Floyd, "Tutus" snuck in by Harry himself from the Spencer Davis group, and a really nice version of "Hitchhike" by Marvin Gaye. Shoutouts this week go to the Inside Self Storage Team led by Teri Lanza, Debbie Pirkey, and Kim Hamilton in a cast of thousands as they put together a really impressive show at the newly opened Caesars Forum with over 5000 attendees.
