With her expertise she started a service called Pawprints, which is a text messaging service designed to provide support, helpful information, and resources to individuals who are grieving the loss of a beloved pet.

In this episode we speak with Bonnie Harlan who created a non profit called prevent pet suffocation after a traumatic experience with her rescue Blue. This is a must listen, there is a lot of information on dangers for your companion animals and how you can help make your home safe as well educating people you may know on the dangers of pet suffocation.

She wrote a Gold Seal Award from the non fiction authors association book called Healing Wisdom for Pet Loss- An Animal Guide to Grief.
