When you are hunting, the moments after you shoot can become the most nerve racking. For a lot of hunters, we tend to have a "blackout" moment when we pull the trigger, loosing sight of where we hit the animal. That question of "did I make a good shot", starts running circles in your mind. It is a cycle that many, if not all hunters go through. You can make a bad shot, and back out. You could make the perfect shot and the animal is laying only a few yards away. Then, there are those days you do make a perfect shot, but the animal still wants to give you a run for your money. Don't worry, you guys are not alone, we have dealt with all of these scenarios. In this episode, we wanted to break down a few of our shots for you guys, and the scenarios they put us in. From getting a second shot on a monster buck, to making a perfect shot and having to track the deer, to shot placement on your bucks, we cover as much information as we can, to bring you guys the best success possible!
