It's the All Star Break in Baseball and New England fans might miss seeing this guy on their TV every night. They can get a little of their TC fix here!
Kirsten and Susie reunite for a great sports parenting episode with Tom Caron, NESN Sportscaster and Red Sox Anchor. They talk about so many great universal stories (car rides, tryouts, return on investment for “elite teams”, playing for fun!) from their times in hockey, basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer. Tom has a unique perspective with a front row seat to professional athletes for the past 35+ years, while also being part of youth/college sports, with a son playing D3 soccer at Hobart. They also dive into Tom investing in youth/professional sports as a part owner of a select hockey team in Massachusetts and part owner of a Professional Soccer team in Maine.
Tom Caron has been a member of NESN's Red Sox broadcast team and host of the pre- and post-game shows for more than two decades. For the
past 20 years he has been the play-by-play voice of the Beanpot Tournament and has called the network’s college hockey tournament coverage since he joined NESN in 1995. The Lewiston, ME native has also served as a Red Sox field reporter and studio host for Boston Bruins hockey. Prior to NESN, Caron worked at several network affiliates in New England and was the play-by-play voice of the Portland Pirates of the AHL. He was inducted into the Maine Sports Hall of Fame in 2021 and the Portland Pirates Hall of Fame in 2014. An eight-time New England Emmy Award winner, Caron has been named New England's Favorite Local TV Sports Personality seven times by Channel Media Sports Research's New England
Sports Survey and was named New England’s Favorite TV Sports Reporter in 2022.
