Have you ever heard the phrase “embrace the process”? This is popular in sports and the development world. But what about God’s process?

Why are so many unclear stuck, and double-minded?

Feeling a call to great things but unsure how to get to where they feel they are supposed to be?

They are missing the process.

Jesus is man as God intended man to be. In today's show, we are going to take a deeper look into the background of Jesus before He launched His public ministry.

To understand the process God uses in our lives, we must understand and examine the process that Jesus submits Himself to in His humanity.

In today's show we look at:

• How old was Jesus when Joseph died, and what would the implications be for him?

• How many brothers and sisters Jesus has, and what was his role in the family?

• Learn how to examine where you are so you can rethink, reframe, and refocus.

Did you watch the Superbowl? If you did, you most likely saw 90 seconds of commercials pushing a message about Jesus called “He gets us.” Even if you missed the commercials, you most likely have heard the feedback or fallout, depending on where you get your news.

The goal of the ‘He Gets Us’ marketing campaign is to re-brand Jesus and appeal to groups that feel excluded and repelled by the religious community.

The atheist left is rejecting the ads, and Christians have mixed feedback across the board, ranging from a complete embrace, concerns, and those that are warning of the dangerous implications of these ads. If you watched the ads and want to hear another perspective that this episode is for you.

I reached out to Austin Kruetz, theologian, and President of the Bonhoeffer Institute, to discuss this campaign. In this conversation, we tackle these questions, plus many more.

Danny Vega joins us for this week's episode, where we talk about a range of topics. In this show, we go deep into Danny's faith and the path that God has set him on, and what he currently doing. Danny is passionate about biblical manhood and family leadership, and we have a great discussion on these topics.

Danny is a well-known influencer in the Keto and Carnivore community, so I had to pick his brain on all things keto as well as get his take on intermittent fasting. We cover mental clarity, the best ways to fast, and the wrong way to do intermittent fasting, which was eye-opening. Danny pulls back the curtains on what its like to be an influencer and also reveals what's next for he and his family. 

A native of Miami, Florida, Danny received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in 2004 where he played football. He then earned a Master of Science in Human Performance from the University of Florida, where he worked with the national championship men’s basketball team. In 2006, Danny became the Strength & Conditioning coordinator for VCU basketball, helping the Rams become the 2007 conference champions. Danny was also a top ranked power lifter and indoor rower. 

He called himself a Christian since 1996, but since 2020 he realized he was not on the narrow path. In November 2021 he had an encounter with the All Mighty that renewed his faith & walk with our Creator—and since then he‘s learned that a lack of obedience & not walking in the spirit is what has plagued the modern church, and why it lacks fruit. It’s his mission to spread this message & wake the church out of its collective spiritual coma however the Father chooses to use him! He lives in Tampa with his wife Maura & two sons, Desmond and Dean.

You don’t have to look very far back into the annuals of American history to see that honorable men are disappearing before our very eyes. Honorable men who demonstrated true masculinity. Men who were a man’s man, a man who not only demonstrates the physical qualities of ruggedness but who also possess mental toughness and emotional strength. A man who says what he means and means what he says. A man who recognizes the importance of honesty. A man of noble principle. A man without covetousness. A man who cannot be bribed or bullied. A man committed to manly virtues. A man who is the head of his home and knows how to control and discipline his children. A man who loves justice but also knows tenderness and mercy. A man who fears God and shows reverence for that which is sacred. A man who knows the difference between the rule of law and the lust for power. On the whole, our society today has little tolerance for such men. Even in our churches, masculinity is dying. Pastor IV Marsh is on a mission to reverse the current trend in our culture and take men on a journey of self-discovery and self-mastery.
