~ Several incidents occurred, showing Ramana Maharshi’s love, kindness and gentle treatment of animals. Some of them also showed his deep understanding of them. These incidents, described by His devotees, are narrated here.

~ In the early years of living in Tiruvannamalai, Ramana Maharshi lived in caves and groves. He was lost in meditation, and did not speak a word for about 11 years or so. Others gave Him food from time to time. Later, people sought Him for His Teachings and His Grace. Thus Ramanasramam Emerged.
~ Reaching Tiruvannamalai, Ramana Maharshi went straight to the Temple and surrendered Himself to God. Penniless and desireless, He lived in caves and groves, lost in meditation. How he he lived those years in total silence of voice and mind, and other occurrences are briefly shown here.
~ After Ramana Maharshi heard the word “Arunachala” casually mentioned by a visitor at about age 16, and had the Deathless Experience, He set out on a journey to reach Arunachala Hill, the embodiment of Siva (Higher Power), located in the city of Tiruvannamalai.
~ When Ramana Maharshi was about 16 years old, He vividly experienced that He existed beyond the body and the mind, as the Spirit of the nature of Sat-Chit-Ananda, Eternal Being-Awareness-Bliss. That is briefly depicted here.
