This year had all the makings of a Colorado Avalanche player gracing the cover of EA's NHL video game. Namely, Cale Makar. What else could the guy have done on the ice to get noticed for a video game, in addition to his popularity skyrocketing off the ice? But who are we kidding here?

EA went with Trevor Zegras as well as Team Canada's Sarah Nurse as the cover athletes for this year's game. The addition of Nurse and including more women's hockey in the game is a welcome addition. But Zegras? This early in his career? Chris doesn't like it, but Kyle does. We discuss.

We also take a look at the Central and talk about each team. Are there risers? Are there fallers? Is there anyone who can challenge the Avs for the top spot in the division?
