Craigie Knowes is a record label which has amassed a reputation for furious club cuts purpose built for the dancefloor, all with a smile and the shake of a hand. Since 2015 the label has released a prolific array of music from the likes of Dj Overdose, Deep Space Orchestra, Natureboy Gold, Textasy and more. Beyond this they have also released two stellar compilations in support of the charity War Child of which the likes of Legowelt, Shanti Celeste, Move D and Yoshinori Hayashi all supported and featured.

This is an imprint with a distinct sense of self and a humility which can sometimes be hard to find within dance music and the associated culture. We here at Ransom Note are firm supporters. The pair have stepped up to deliver a heavy hitting mix designed to make you move.

They have recorded a mix of stunning poetic cohesion which will help to ease you into the week, igniting and inspirational.

As a producer and disc jockey his music has been supported by the likes of Richard Norris, Ewan Pearson, Slam, Jori Hulkkonen and Daniel Avery. He has also invested a significant amount of time in sound exploration curating a carefully run website which showcases new music and champions up and coming talent. In the coming months he will release his debut album as part of a project called "The World In Winter" - a far removed piece of work from his excursions into dance music. In celebration of this it seemed apt and wise to ask him to contribute to our ever growing Monday mix series and he does so in fine style.

Both as a disc jockey and producer he has evolved with delicate precision his sound drawing upon a range of deeply rooted elements and fundamentals. His music has been firmly supported by the likes of Dixon, Ben UFO, Laurent Garnier, John Talabot, Erol Alkan, Mano Le Tough, Ivan Smagghe and more... He has maintained residencies at the likes of Sport and Mondo Disko and has since evolved his international presence gracing the likes of Panorama Bar and beyond. As a producer he has appeared most prominently on Correspondant, the record label run by the pioneering force of Jennifer Cardini. He has made several appearances on the label across a number of years and this summer he will grace the stage at Nuits Sonores as part of a specially curated date by Jennifer herself.

The label has acted as an incubator for up and coming talent and has remained a powerful foce amidst the community.

As a disc jockey Andrew has been lucky to ride prominently upon the coat-tails of the label and is widely travelled. Appearances across Europe and beyond have allowed him to develop an innovative presence behind the wheels of steel with each mix forming a deeply singular path from which came before.
