A couple of weeks ago I was involved in a car accident. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and relatively minor damage, but as I went to pull off to the side of the road, the other driver got on the freeway and took off. Of course, mine wasn’t the first traffic accident ever to take place. That happened last week, on May 30 in 1896, when the first automobile accident in the US occurred in New York City. A Duryea Motor Wagon, driven by Henry Wells from Springfield, MA collided with a bicycle ridden by Evylyn Thomas of NYC. In the Alley Blues – Lovie Austin’s Serenaders

We’ll Be Married in June – Adrian Schubert’s DO / Irving Kaufman

    Segment 4: Wisconsin
May 29 in 1848, the 30th state joined the United States of America. The 30th state is…..OK,I’ll give you a hint. It’s name is the Chippewa Indian word for “grassy place”. That’s right! Wisconsin.

    Hello, Wisonsin – Eddie Cantor
Postage Stomp – Wisconsin U Skyrockets
There’s Everything Sweet About You – Wisconsin Roof Orch

    Segment 5: Marriage
