This Rational Boomer Podcast will be different than any other. I'm not going to tell you what it's about. We will leave it as a surprise. Let's get into it.

I've said that I'm neither Democratic or a Republican. So people ask me, so what am I. Here's the thing. I don't join clubs. I don't distinguish political candidates by their parties. I distinguish them by the contact of their character. To borrow a quote from Martin Luther King. Let's get into it.

Vladimir Putin is on a long streak of miscalculations and mistakes. Now he's "Jumped the Shark". A reference only we old folks will get. Anyway he's issued his own sanctions against President Biden, Vice President Harris, Secretary of State Blinken and others. The problem is those sanctions do absolutely nothing. Let's get into it.

Since invading Ukraine the problems are mounting on Vladimir Putin. It's becoming quite a burden. Now because of all the sanctions there's yet another big problem that is imminent. Russians are on the verge of defaulting on their foreign debt. Let's get into it.

Russia thought they would have an easy time when they invaded Ukraine. Much to their surprise, Ukrainians were tougher and had more resolve than they imagined. Russia is now looking for help. They are begging Belarus and even China to help out. Let's get into it.

Russia is claiming that America and Ukraine have chemical weapons plants in Ukraine. Which is absolutely a lie. But this is what they do. It's about gaslighting and projecting. When they use chemical weapons on Ukraine then he has some cover and someone to blame. Let's get into it.

The U.S. and European countries are sanctioning the hell out of Russia and it is economically crippling the country. As much as we might like to get in the fight and help the Ukrainians we can't because than we would be in World War III. That said we hold a lot of power over Russia. We could literally destroy Russia economically. With that power we need to have the courage to demand everything to make the world safe. Let's get into it.

For months we've been sitting on the precipice of a government shutdown. We've even had a couple extensions. But the House and the Senate passed a $1.5 trillion dollar budget Bill. Within that Bill that have voted for $14 billion dollars for aid to Ukraine. Let's get into it
