RC Conspiracies

In today's RC Conspiracies we talk about Redcat Racing's new Kaiju that is shipping this Friday, the Team Associated RIVAL MT10, Primal RC Raminator, and more.

It's been too long! We took a break for the end of the year and then I had to go on a work trip in January. I'm back and ready to get back at it y'all.

So many cars to talk about from the Team Associate DR10 Drag car, Element RC Independent Front Supsension kit, RC4WD Overlander 6x6, Cross RC TC6, Kyosho Jimny, Kyosho Toyota 4Runner, Axial SCX24 and more.

It's a good day for us Solid Axle Monster Truck fans. Axial has updated the popular SMT10 truck and is making it available again in the new year. They've added a faster 550 12t Dynamite motor and metal gear transmission to the Grave Digger RTR–which addresses my my biggest complaints about the original–and they've added a builders kit. On top of that, they lowered the price to $299 for the RTR and the kit is only $199.

Both are available for pre-order through your local hobby shops. If you don't have a local shop, links to pre-order through Horizon are below:

You guys I are dying for this. I'm dying for this. Come on Axial, just let the SMT10 DROP! And with options too! Let's talk about that!

Facebook groups came alive this weekend with teaser pictures of a new RTR version of the popular Redcat Gen8. They blurred out the exterior shots of the car, but let us see the specs of what the RTR was boasting. Hobbywing Axe brushless crawler electronics, a Reef's 422 HD servo, Swamper tires, FlySky GT5 transmitter, a divorced transfer case and more. A day later we saw the same ad with the body shown that reveals the scale interior, and roll cage design. The question is...what kind of savings can they pass along to the customer? Let's talk about that.

It's been a very busy couple months for Horizon Hobby as they've unleashed a bunch of new RC vehicles for us surface people. ARRMA, in particular, had a recent BIG announcement and several other industry shakers they released. Greg will be on to talk with us about that and we'll see what other information we can sneak out of him. Hopefully he isn't wearing a tinfoil hat.

I'm getting lots of questions about what I'm going to do with my YouTube channel because of COPPA, so I thought I'd address that tonight as well as talk about other things RC and YouTube as they get brought up in the chat.

There's been a lot to talk about in the RC World as of late. We've had ARRMA conspiracies pop up again, CEN teasers at SEMA, and a new version of an old but wildly loved Losi - the Mini T 2.0. Get your decoder rings and tinfoil hats ready....

There's a lot going on, but also a lot that's still unsolved. Tonight we're going to spend some time in the chat, but also talk about some new vehicles and SEMA 2019 starting tomorrow in Vegas. RC announcements have come from their in the past, so we have our antennae up.
