Getting our children outside is good for both the children and for us as parents. And there are so many learning opportunities that can happen outside. My guest, Erin shares her experience of what it's like to watch children grow in a completely outdoor preschool and she shares some of her tips to support children with learning outside.

Books for children learning to read generally follow a leveled book structure where a scheme starts with simple words and sentences and slowly builds up. One of the things I discovered a little while ago when I was looking into recipes to use with my class in the classroom was that using grams can actually be really difficult for a child to get the hang of, particularly when they're 4, 5 or even 6. There is a lot going on in the kitchen for a child to take in. In this episode, I share why cups are a better option for young children.
