Join us as we have a conversation about how Jay-Z is suing Bacardi because obviously they must be beating him out of millions of dollars!   According To AllHipHop:  Jay-Z Sues D’Usse Partner Bacardi Over Transparency Concerns!  Jay-Z is taking his partner in the cognac business to court, demanding transparency from Bacardi over just how big the D’Usse bag is.   The business mogul’s company SC Liquor has filed a lawsuit against Bacardi, with whom Jay-Z has a 50/50 partnership in the Cognac brand. According to a new report from TMZ, Jay-Z wants complete financial clarity from Bacardi concerning D’Usse.    Jay-Z and Bacardi have been co-owners of D’Usse since 2011. Hov and Beyoncé launched the new premium cognac during a party at LIV Nightclub in December of that year. While there have been no rumors of an internal rift, the lawsuit suggests something is amiss.    The outlet reports Jay-Z is requesting access to information about D’Usse production and sales. The company wants all books and records for the business, and “the location of all warehouses storing D’Usse barrels, bottles and accessories.” The docs also request all the files pertaining to Bacardi’s physical inventory processes.   While it is unclear why Jay-Z decided to file suit against Bacardi, the filing suggests trust has become an issue between the partners. In the court papers, SC Liquor states it needs to “monitor the conduct of [Bacardi’s] business to protect SC’s rights as” a partner in the company.   So make sure you join our conversation, like, share and comment! Though Silver didn’t elaborate much on their meeting — which came earlier this week after the Nets suspended Irving for sharing an antisemitic film on social media — he said he doesn’t think Irving is actually antisemitic.  “It’s something I’ve been very involved in. It’s obviously an incredibly unfortunate situation,” Silver said, via The New York Times' Sopan Dep. “It’s not a secret. I met with Kyrie earlier this week.  I personally, based on what he said directly to me, have no doubt that he’s not antisemitic, but I think there’s a process that he’s going to now need to go through. I think he understands that and incidentally, it’s now with the Nets who are working with specifics.”  Silver said that the Nets will decide when Irving can return "in consultation with the league."

RBCF!   According to the Jewish Post:  Rapper Kanye West has again issued anti semitic statements, this time blaming “Jewish Zionists” for news stories about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson having sex in front of a fireplace.  “It’s Jewish Zionists that [are] about that life,” he said on Sunday. “That’s telling this Christian woman that has four black children to put that out as a message in the media.”  The rapper then mentions Dov Charney, founder of the Los Angeles apparel manufacturing company American Apparel, who is Jewish. According to West, Charney refused to release the rapper’s controversial “White Lives Matter” shirt shortly after West published his “Death con 3 on Jewish people” tweet.  “It’s cause he’s Jewish, and this is my exact point that I’m making,” West said following Charney’s decision. “Jewish people have owned the Black voice. Whether it’s through us wearing the Ralph Lauren shirt, or it’s all of us being signed to a record label, or having a Jewish manager, or being signed to a Jewish basketball team, or doing a movie on a Jewish platform like Disney.”  The campaign against our brother is real!
