This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Sandra Kim, owner of Mikcardnas (nee-car-na), a luxurious handmade knit bag/accessories company based in New Your City who married now husband Tim in one of New York's finest event spaces, The Foundry.

Sandra and Tim met through mutual friends at a college party, and were together for 8 years, before Tim popped the question secretly (to Sandra anyway ;) surrounded by their family at a lakeside cabin in upstate New York.

With family based in both New York and Philadelphia, Sandra and Tim knew that one of those locations would be the site for their wedding day. After much deliberation - they couldn't go past The Foundry in NY - known for its nod to the aesthetics of a countryside European villa, something not found in many venues locally, the courtyard especially caught Sandra's eye, large scale brick walls with sweeping growing ivy - a real anomaly in amongst a city full like spaces.

Sandra utilised Instagram to find some of her key suppliers such as Lucie Weddings, Ripple Weddings and florist Oh Fluer, understanding the importance of being drawn to an aesthetic and mood of each vendor to work together to help create their dream day!

Locking eyes on each other from opposite ends of the aisle - a moment to remember in a day filled with love for Sandra and Tim.
